Art that you wear

  Lola of San Francisco's
  Laura Herrera is an
  artist before she's a
  fashion designer.  But
  hers is art that hangs
  on shoulders, waists
  and hips, not on walls.

  Working in silk, hemp,
  linen, and organza,
  Lola's work affirms
  her understanding of
  the human form and
  how to decorate
  movement.

   Lola's inspirations are
   Asian, South American
   and African textiles, the
   plants and flowers of
   her native California,
   and the firings from
   the deep recesses of
   her right brain.  The
   results are seen in
   the funky-elegant
   couture collection Lola
   of San Francisco
and
   the everyday
   expressions of the
   Lola Too collection.
